Kingfisher Airlines

We are based at Pooppady House, which is located right near the Engineering College in Thrissur. It is a nice spot in Kerala with plenty of trees and a bit of a slower pace than the big cities. At Kingfisher Airlines, we handle the local travel queries and help people with their flight arrangements. The office is inside an older building and it has a very lived-in feel to it. We have our desks set up near the windows so we can see the students walking to the college nearby. When the monsoon comes, the rain hits the roof so loud we have to speak up to hear each other. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or working on the computer systems. It is not a high-pressure environment most of the time, but we do get busy when people are planning their holidays. We aren't interested in using a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It is just a travel office where we help folks get from point A to point B. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea and that is usually the highlight of our afternoon break. The 680 009 area is a comfortable place to work and we have been part of this community for a while. We just take each day as it comes and try to keep things organized for the travelers.
