Kingfisher Airlines

Our office is tucked away in Yelahanka New Town at Pavani Residency. We are in the Lillies Block, room 204. It’s a bit of a different setup since it’s inside a residential complex, so it doesn't feel like those big airport offices you see on TV. Bangalore traffic can be a real headache, but Yelahanka is a bit further out so it’s slightly calmer. We have a few desks set up and we spend most of the day on the phone or computer. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The building itself is okay, just a standard apartment block really. We’ve got some files stacked up and some maps on the wall. It’s not a place where passengers come to check in or anything like that, it’s more for the behind-the-scenes stuff that people don’t usually see. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the papers pile up when things get busy. There is a small balcony where some of us go to get some air during breaks. You can hear the sounds of the town outside, mostly just cars and the local birds. It’s a practical place to work from. We’ve been here for a while and the location is easy enough for us to get to from our homes. Just a regular office doing regular work in a quiet corner of Bangalore. We keep a water cooler in the corner and sometimes the lift is out of order.
