Our office is at 137/C in the Railway Quatres at Ypr, Bangalore. Yeshwanthpur is a loud and active part of the city because of the train station. Being tucked away in the quarters gives us a bit of a different perspective. This location is where we handle the administrative side of things for the airlines. It’s not the shiny terminal where people board planes. It’s a functional space with old desks and cabinets full of flight logs and staff records. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. We have a small team here. Most of us take the bus or ride our bikes to work. We spend our days on the phone or typing away at old keyboards. You can hear the whistles of the trains throughout the day. It’s a very grounded way to work in the aviation industry. We don't have a corporate cafeteria. We just go out to the local stalls for a quick bite. People often get lost trying to find us the first time. We just tell them to look for the quarter number. It is honest work and we don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. We are just the crew in the background making sure things stay organized and everyone gets where they need to go. It’s a lot of paperwork, but we are used to it.
