Khadi Bhandar

Khadi Bhandar is located at 142, Dispensary Road. If you know the city at all, you know we are running parallel to Commercial Street, which is always packed with people and energy. Dispensary Road itself is a bit different, a little more manageable but still very much in the heart of the action. Our building at 142 is a familiar sight to the people who walk these streets every day. We have been here for a long time, and the walls probably have some stories to tell if they could talk. The space inside is simple and functional. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or fancy furniture. It’s mostly just wooden shelves and the smell of the materials we work with. The light comes in through the front windows, and we usually keep the doors open to catch any breeze that might come down the road. It can get loud with all the shouting and horns from the nearby Commercial Street, but we have learned to tune it out. People often stop by just because they were passing through the area and saw the sign. We don't do any big promotions or try to convince anyone of anything. We are just here at 142, doing what we have always done. It’s a busy life on Dispensary Road, but it’s the life we know. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood.
