Keshava Bhat A

I’m Keshava Bhat A, and I run things from my place at 22 Vyalikaval Extn. It’s a quiet residential area, and my setup is pretty simple. I’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, so I know most of the people walking past my gate every day. I don’t have a big corporate office or a team of people in suits. It’s just me working on whatever projects come my way. Sometimes it’s busy and the phone won’t stop ringing, and other times it’s so quiet I can hear the neighbor’s TV through the wall. I like it this way because I don’t have to deal with a long commute or city traffic. My desk is usually covered in papers and a few old pens that barely work. People know they can just come to the door if they need something, though I prefer if they call first so I’m not in the middle of a meal. There’s a small garden out front that I try to keep tidy, but the weeds usually win. I’ve thought about moving to a bigger space, but Vyalikaval has a certain feel to it that I’d miss. It’s comfortable and familiar. I do my work, keep my records in order, and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It’s not a fancy life, but it suits me just fine at this stage. I’ve lived here long enough to see the trees grow tall.
