We are based out of Whitefield at the 185 building near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus area, which can be a bit of a trek for anyone not living on this side of the city. The commute is probably the thing we talk about most when we are getting our first cup of tea in the morning. Our office is a functional space where we handle various technology projects and software development. It’s not a designer office with bean bags or pool tables; it’s just a place with good desks, reliable power, and enough light to work by. We have a small team of developers and technicians who spend most of their time buried in code or testing out new systems. We don’t really have a formal dress code, so most of us just show up in whatever is comfortable for a long day at the desk. There’s a lot of collaboration that happens just by leaning over and looking at someone else’s screen to help them out. We have been through some busy times where we stayed late to finish a project, but we try to keep a normal schedule most of the time. The building is shared with a few other businesses, so there is always a bit of life in the hallways and elevators. We just focus on doing our work well and making sure the tech we build actually does what it’s supposed to do.
