Being located at Door Number 291 on 9th Main in Jayanagar 4th Block means we are right in the thick of things here in Bangalore. The 34th Cross intersection is always a bit of a mess with scooters and people trying to find a spot to park, especially during the lunch hour. Our office isn’t hard to find once you know the area, but if you are new to the West side of the block, the numbering can be a little tricky to follow. We spend a lot of time dealing with the usual city stuff like the slow internet on rainy days and the constant hum of the ceiling fans above our heads. The area has changed quite a lot over the years, with new shops opening up and old houses getting torn down, but we have stayed put at this address. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through our tasks and trying to stay ahead of the daily schedule. There is a guy who sells filter coffee nearby, and that is pretty much the highlight of our afternoon break. We don’t have a big HR team or any fancy lounge areas with beanbags. It is just a bunch of people at their computers, making sure things don't fall behind. The windows let in some light, but mostly they just show the busy street outside. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers by face, which makes the workday feel a bit more grounded and real.
