We have been here on Bellary Road for a good while now, right next to where the Shobha Developers project is. It is usually pretty busy outside because of the traffic coming through Nagasandra, but we are used to it by this point. Most days start with us opening up the shutters early and checking the inventory we have on the floor. Kaviraj Appliances started small and it stays that way in terms of how we run things. There are always boxes coming in or going out, and someone is usually on the phone talking about a fridge or a stove. It gets dusty with all the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the machines. People stop by on their way home because we are easy to spot from the main road. The office part is just a couple of desks tucked in the back where we keep the records. It is not a fancy showroom with bright lights, just a place where we keep the appliances people need for their kitchens and homes. We know most of the people who live around here. Sometimes they just come in to ask a question about a spare part or how to fix a leak. It is a lot of work keeping track of everything, but it is what we do. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks when things get too hectic.
