We are based out of Kumbalagodu on the Mysore Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city but it works out well for the kind of engineering work we do. The office and the workshop are in the same building near the Kumbalgod Post. Most of our days are spent dealing with drawings and making sure the machinery is running like it should. We have a small team of people who have been with us for years. It’s mostly dusty work and there’s always the sound of something being cut or welded in the back. The road outside is always busy with trucks going towards Mysore, so it’s never really quiet here. We handle different types of projects, mostly stuff that needs a lot of technical oversight. There isn't much of a lobby or anything, just a desk and some chairs where we talk to clients or vendors. We keep our tools organized as much as possible, though things get messy when we are in the middle of a big job. Lunch breaks usually happen at the small tea stall down the road. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t go in for anything flashy. We just show up, do the engineering tasks required for the day, and make sure the site is locked up before we head home. The weather out here is usually okay, but the dust from the highway is a constant battle for our cleaning guy.
