Katmai Infotechnology is situated at G #15 on the 6th Main in Kodigehalli Village. We’re part of the Virupakshapura area in Yelahanka. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here if you’re coming from the south of the city, but it’s a decent place to work. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for us to come and go. It’s a pretty simple room with white walls and a few desks pushed against each other. We don't have a big budget for office furniture, so some of it is a bit mismatched. It doesn't really matter to us as long as the computers are running and the internet connection stays stable. The village vibe is still present around here, with small vendors selling vegetables right on the corner. We often go out for a walk during our breaks just to stretch our legs and get away from the screens for a minute. The building isn't brand new, and sometimes the power goes out when there’s a heavy rainstorm, but we have a small backup system that keeps us going for a while. We aren't trying to look like a high-tech startup from a movie. We’re just a small team doing info-tech work in a quiet part of Bengaluru. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we appreciate the lack of pretense in our neighborhood. We just do our bit and go home.
