Cosmos

Cosmos is tucked away at No. 31/2 on 3rd Main, right off Ashwatkatte Main Road. Being near Mysore Road in Kasturiba Nagar means there is always noise from the traffic. It’s an old part of the city and we’ve seen it change a lot over the years. The shop itself is pretty basic. We spend most of our time sorting through things and making sure the inventory is right. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially in the summer months. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we walk or bike in. It’s a convenient spot for us, even if the parking for visitors can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, people just know us by word of mouth in the neighborhood. The building has been here for a long time. Inside, we have a few desks and a lot of shelves. It’s not the most modern setup but it works for what we do. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. The 3rd Main area is mostly residential and small shops, so it feels like a community. We try to keep things simple and just do our work without making a fuss. If you are coming from Mysore Road, you have to watch for the turn carefully because it’s easy to miss.
