We’re based on the first floor at No. 33 Crescent Road. This isn't one of the grand hotel lobbies you might imagine. This is where a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff happens for the group in Bangalore. We handle things like bookings, staff coordination, and all the mundane tasks that keep the bigger places running smoothly. It’s an old building, and our office is pretty straightforward. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails from guests. It gets quite loud when everyone is talking at once. We’ve got tea breaks where we talk about the weekend, and then it's back to the screens. Dealing with hospitality means things are always changing at the last minute. A group cancels or a big event gets booked, and we have to scramble to get everything sorted. It’s a lot of pressure sometimes, but we’re used to it. We don't really see the guests here, but we feel the impact of their visits through the work we do. It’s just a group of people trying to make sure the rooms are ready and the kitchens are stocked. We stay busy from morning till evening. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s an important part of the whole operation. Crescent Road is a nice spot, a bit quieter than the main roads. We mostly focus on the administrative side, making sure the paperwork matches the actual reality of the hotel operations.
