You can find us on the third floor of the Bin Ali Complex. It’s right across from the Masjid Rashad, so the prayers provide a steady rhythm to our day. The building is a bit older, and the lift is sometimes out of service, which means we get our exercise climbing those stairs. Our office space is pretty basic. We’ve got our computers set up on long tables, and there’s always a stack of old files in the corner that we haven't quite gotten around to sorting yet. It’s not a polished corporate environment. It’s just a place where we work on our software projects. The windows look out over a busy street, so there’s always the sound of horns and people shouting below. We usually have lunch together at one of the small shops nearby. The food is spicy and cheap, which suits us just fine. Kashosoft Labs has been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building, like how the light in the hallway flickers if you don’t hit the switch just right. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just focus on the code and making sure things work the way they should. It’s a small team and we like it that way. No big speeches or fancy meetings, just honest work done in a simple room in a busy part of town where everyone knows each other by name.
