Karnataka Plumbing Works

We run our plumbing business from a small shop on Sadashiva Temple Road in Kammanahalli. It’s called Om Shakti Illam, and it’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re in the Bangalore-33 area. Inside, you’ll mostly find stacks of PVC pipes, different kinds of wrenches, and boxes of washers and valves. We’ve been doing plumbing work for the local neighborhood and the surrounding parts of Bangalore for many years. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty, but it feels good to fix a leak that’s been bothering someone for weeks. Most of the time, the shop is empty because we are out at someone’s house or an office building fixing a toilet or clearing out a clogged drain. We aren’t a big company with fancy branded trucks or anything. We just have our tool bags and our bikes to get through the Bangalore traffic. People usually find us because a neighbor told them we do a decent job for what they pay. We know these old buildings around R S Palya really well, which helps when the pipes are tucked away in weird places. We just focus on getting the water flowing properly and making sure nothing is leaking. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we plan to keep at it for a long time. There is always something needing repair in this city.
