Karnataka Auto Engineering Works is located over at 1489 6 in Mariyappana Palya, right on Sinhagad Road. If you know the area, you know that Sinhagad Road is one of the busiest stretches around. We are based in a simple workshop-style building. The address 1489 6 is where we do all our daily engineering tasks. It’s a dusty, busy environment because of all the vehicles passing by on the main road. We don’t have a fancy office or a lobby for guests. It’s mostly just the sound of tools and machines running throughout the day. Mariyappana Palya is a place where a lot of manual work gets done, so we fit right in. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. The space is filled with parts and equipment we use for our auto work. It’s not always the cleanest place, but it’s a working shop where things get fixed. We start early in the morning and usually wrap up late. There’s a lot of activity on the road outside which never really stops. We don’t use any corporate talk here; we just focus on the machines in front of us. It’s a very straightforward way to earn a living. The building itself is nothing special, just a roof and some walls to keep our tools safe. That’s how we operate here on Sinhagad Road every single day. We’ve been here for years and it’s just home to us now.
