I’m Karajagimath V S and I’ve been running things here at 18 Basavanagudi Reservoir Street for a good stretch of time now. This part of town has a specific rhythm to it that you just get used to after a few years. My space isn't anything fancy, just a regular office where the door stays open most of the day unless the dust from the street gets too much. Basavanagudi has changed a lot since I first started, but Reservoir Street still feels like the old neighborhood in bits and pieces. I usually get in early before the traffic really picks up because finding a spot to park later on is a nightmare for everyone. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers keeping the files in order and dealing with whatever comes through the door. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the entrance so people know they’ve found the right place. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask about something happening on the block. It’s a quiet way to work, really. I spend most of my time at the desk, handling the paperwork and answering the phone when it rings. There’s always something that needs fixing or a stack of papers that needs sorting, so the day goes by pretty fast. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a local spot where we get the work done without making a fuss about it.
