If you are looking for us, we are right on Chickpet S P Marking Road. We’re located just opposite the Vijay Hotel, which is a good landmark if you get lost in the crowds. Chickpet is a crazy place, always packed with shoppers and carts and people shouting, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We’ve been here for a long time, trading and dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a family-style business, though we aren't all related. We just work together like we are. Our shop is full of stock and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit, but that’s a good problem to have. We don't do any of that fancy advertising. We just stand by our products and talk to people who come in. We’ve known some of our customers for twenty years. They come to us because they know we aren't going to give them any nonsense. We keep our prices fair and our talk straightforward. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. Sometimes we grab a tea from the stall across the way and just watch the people go by. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open up the shop, do our business, and go home. On rainy days, the alleyways get a bit muddy and business slows down, but we just use that time to reorganize the shelves.
