Kamala Clinic

Kamala Clinic has been sitting here in Jayanagar 1st Block for quite some time now. If you head down 4th Cross, you’ll find us easily since we are right near Ashoka Pillar. It is a quiet spot, though the traffic outside can get a bit loud during the morning hours. Inside, things are pretty straightforward. We have the usual chairs in the waiting area and some old magazines on the table. Most of the people who come here are from the neighborhood. We know many of them by name because they have been coming for years. Our staff stays busy with the paperwork and answering the phone, which rings quite a bit. It is not a very big place, but it works for what we do. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a minute for the backup to kick in, but that’s just how things go around here. We try to keep things organized, even if the files pile up on the desk occasionally. The floor gets swept a few times a day because of all the dust from the road. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything. It is just a regular clinic where people come when they aren't feeling well. We open up early and stay until the last person is seen. It is a job we have been doing for a long while now, and we just keep at it day after day.
