Kamal Agencies is over at 27/36 in Vijaynagar. It’s a decent enough spot to be in, though parking can be a real headache on the weekends. We open up the shutters every morning and start by sweeping the front step. The building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and serves its purpose for what we need. Inside, the shelves are filled with all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for. We don’t use any complicated filing systems, just a few notebooks and our memory. Vijaynagar is a lively area, and we often chat with the neighbors who run the shops next to us. It feels more like a community than just a place of business. When the weather is nice, we leave the door wide open to let the breeze in. We don't have any fancy brochures or big marketing plans. People know where we are and what we have, so they just come by when they need something. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, but we know our way around the piles of stock. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation here. We handle the paperwork ourselves and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday every single week. We like the routine and the people who stop by.
