Kalpataru Builders Mumbai

Living and working in Mumbai means you get used to small spaces. Our spot in Shanti Niwas is no different. Being in room A/303, we are right in the middle of the residential block of HR Society. It’s nice because you get to see the neighbors going about their day. We have Kalpataru Builders Mumbai signs on the door so people don't walk into the wrong flat by mistake. Inside, we have replaced the usual living room furniture with work tables and stools. We keep the windows open for the breeze, though that means we have to wipe the dust off the desks every morning. It’s just a part of Mumbai life. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea or heat up our tiffins at noon. The light in the afternoon is quite good for looking over plans. We don't have a big corporate board, just a group of people who know how to build things. We've been at this address for a long time, so most of the local suppliers know exactly where to find us without even looking at the map. The elevator in Shanti Niwas is a bit temperamental, so we usually just take the stairs. It’s only the third floor anyway. We hear the traffic from the main road, but it’s mostly quiet enough to get the work done. The security guard at the gate is friendly and keeps an eye on the courier deliveries for us.
