Kaleemullah Sheriff

I’ve been working out of Chandra Plaza on Avenue Road for quite some years now. My name is Kaleemullah Sheriff and this is where I handle all my business affairs. Avenue Road is always packed with people and carts, so it’s a very energetic place to be. We are at shop 611. It’s a small space, filled mostly with files and the things we need for the day's work. It gets a bit cramped when we have visitors, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. I usually get in early before the crowds get too thick. Most of the people around here are other traders and we all sort of know each other. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just talk to people, handle the orders, and try to keep up with the pace of the street outside. Sometimes the electricity goes off or the noise from the traffic is too much, but you get used to it. I’ve lived and worked around here long enough that I can’t imagine being anywhere else. It’s simple work really, just buying and selling or helping people with what they need. We don't use any special systems, just our ledgers and common sense to get through the day. The building is a bit older, and the neighbors in the plaza are all good people. We help each other out.
