Kailash Novelty

Kailash Novelty is situated in the Bhagirathi Building at number 52 on Kothanur Main Road. This part of Gaurav Nagar and Sultanpet is always buzzing with people moving around. The shop itself is full of all the small things you might need, from plastic buckets to stationery and little decorative items. It’s one of those places where the more you look, the more you find hidden behind something else. The building is a bit older, so the stairs are a little steep and the paint is peeling in a few corners. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. Usually, the radio is playing softly in the corner, and we spend a lot of time dusting the items because the road outside brings in a lot of grit. We don't have a fancy display window or anything like that. We just put some of the new stock out on the pavement to show people what we have. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the Sultanpet traffic, so we have piles of unopened boxes sitting near the entrance. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get through the aisles, but that’s just how novelty shops are. We don’t bother with much paperwork beyond the basic bills. It’s a simple shop for local people who need something quickly without any fuss or corporate polish.
