Kadamba

We opened Kadamba over at Whitefield 29 because we wanted to have a place that felt like home. It’s not a big corporate chain or anything like that. Just us. Most days you’ll see the same faces coming in for their morning coffee or a quick lunch before heading back to the office. Whitefield has changed a lot since we started, but we try to keep things pretty much the same inside these walls. It’s a bit noisy sometimes when the lunch rush hits, and maybe the tables aren't always perfectly aligned, but that is just how a busy place goes. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen making sure the food tastes like it should. We don't have a fancy marketing team or a social media person. It is just me and a few others working hard to keep the place clean and the customers fed. Sometimes we run out of things if it's a particularly busy Tuesday, but people usually understand. We just like being part of the neighborhood here. If you are walking by Whitefield 29, you can see us right there. It’s a simple life running a place like this. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It is just about serving good food to people who live and work nearby. We’ve had some long days, but seeing someone enjoy a meal makes it worth the sore feet at the end of the night.
