Kaatizone

Kaatizone is located at Bangalore GPO 13A. It’s right in the thick of things near the post office. We spend most of our day rolling out dough and grilling meats or veggies. It’s a busy spot because of where we are situated. Lots of people walking by on their way to work or errands. The fans are always going but it still gets warm when the grills are full. We don't have much of a "vibe" other than just being a place to get food quickly. Our counters are plain and we use a lot of paper wraps. You’ll see a lot of people eating while they walk or leaning against the wall outside. We try to keep things moving so no one has to wait too long. Sometimes we get the orders mixed up when it’s really crowded, but we fix it fast. The menu hasn't changed much over the years. We know what people like and we just keep making that. We get deliveries of flour and oil every few days, and sometimes the bags take up space in the corner where customers want to stand. It’s a working kitchen first and foremost. We close up when the last of the dough is gone. It’s a simple life, making rolls for people in the city. We don't use fancy ads, just the smell of the grill to bring people in.
