At K S Nagesh Chartered Accountants, we are based in the Nagendra Block area of Bangalore. Our office is at 221 2nd C Cross, which is tucked into the 13A Main. Bangalore has changed so much with all the tech companies, but our corner of Bsk 3rd Stage still feels a bit more like the old city. It’s a bit quieter than the MG Road area, which we appreciate. The office is in a residential-looking building, so it feels quite cozy. We have a few rooms filled with books and ledgers. Sometimes the Bangalore rain starts suddenly, and we have to run to close all the windows so the papers don't get damp. We spend most of our time sitting at our computers or going through physical files. It’s a lot of quiet work, really. We have a small tea break in the afternoon when we talk about our families or the latest traffic mess on the Outer Ring Road. There isn't any fancy lobby or a big sign outside. It’s just a place where we do our accounting and talk to our clients who have been coming to us for years. We like the neighborhood feel of this spot. It makes coming to work feel less like a chore. We just keep things simple and focus on the tasks at hand. It is not about being the biggest office, just about being consistent. Most days are pretty much the same, and we like it that way.
