If you’ve ever been down to Kalasipalyam, you know how crowded it gets with all the buses moving in and out at all hours. Our office is right there in the K R M S Building, which is number 24. We are quite close to the Kanakapura KSRTC bus stop, so there’s always people walking by looking for a way to get somewhere. We’ve been running this travel desk for a while, mostly helping folks book tickets or arranging a vehicle when they have a family function or a trip to plan. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules all day long. Sometimes the buses are late or there’s a problem on the road, and we have to sort it out for the passengers. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. The office is small and filled with old ledgers and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. We get all sorts of people coming in—students, families, and workers going back home. We know the routes around here pretty well, especially the ones heading out towards Kanakapura. It’s noisy outside with all the honking and the crowds, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just try to help people get to where they need to go without too much fuss. It's a family-run thing mostly, and we take turns sitting at the desk. We don't do much advertising; people just find us because we’ve been here so long.
