You can find the office on the 2nd floor of the Chandra Building, which is right on Avenue Road Main Road. We are at number 612, not too far from the Adigas Hotel. It is a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise from the street coming through the windows. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but they get the job done. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of files and old books. We spend most of the morning going through paperwork and preparing for the day ahead. Avenue Road is always crowded, so getting to the building can be a bit of a challenge if you are in a car. Most people just walk or take a rickshaw to the door. We have been in this building for quite a while now. The office isn't very large, but it’s enough space for the desks and for people to sit while they wait. We don't have fancy lights or modern furniture, just the old wooden tables we have always used. Sometimes we grab lunch at Adigas when things are particularly hectic. The phone rings a lot, and there is usually a stack of documents waiting to be signed. It’s a very routine way of working, handling one case after another without much fuss. Being in the middle of the main road means we are always in the thick of things every single day.
