You’ll find K & P Bangles & Fancy Stores at 14/3 on the 60 Feet Road in JC Nagar, which is just off Magadi Road. It’s a very active area with lots of people moving about. We have a lot of glass bangles, and they take a lot of care to handle every day. If you drop a box, it’s a big problem, so we are always moving slowly around the shop. The shelves are packed with different colors and sizes for people to look through. We also have other small things like hair clips, bindis, and safety pins. The 60 Feet Road gets quite crowded in the evenings when the market is in full swing. We’ve been here at this spot for a while now. The shop is small, and sometimes the ceiling feels a bit low because of all the stock we hang from it to save space. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see the same two or three of us behind the counter. We don't have any big corporate rules or anything like that, we just talk to the customers and help them find a match for their clothes. Magadi Road is always loud with horns, but inside the shop, we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a lot of work to keep the glass clean and the rows straight, but it’s what we do. We just keep the doors open and wait for the neighborhood folks.
