Jp Cordial Hotel

Being right at Ananda Rao Circle is a bit of a challenge because of the constant noise and the Subedar Chatram Road traffic. Jp Cordial Hotel sits at 68 and 68/1, right where everything is happening. You can hear the buses and the horns all day long. We spend a lot of time just keeping the dust out because of the road work nearby. The hotel is a busy place. People are always coming and going since the railway station is so close. We mostly just focus on the basics. Checking people in, making sure the sheets are clean, and answering questions about where to find a good meal. It’s a lot of walking up and down the halls. Some of the staff stay in the back rooms. We have a routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We open the doors, check the registers, and wait for the next group to arrive. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to fix the generator quickly. That’s just part of life here. Ananda Rao Circle is a landmark, so people find us easily enough. We don't put on airs or pretend to be a big chain. We are just a local hotel on a very busy street, trying to keep things running smoothly for whoever stays with us. There is always something to do here to keep the building going.
