Johnson Lift P Ltd Testing Engg

Our work happens over at 506 in the Basavaraj Building, right in the middle of Electronics City in Bangalore. Being in the testing and engineering side of Johnson Lift P Ltd means we spend a lot of time looking at parts and making sure things are working the way they should. The office is full of technical manuals and some equipment that looks pretty old but still works perfectly fine. Electronics City is always busy, so getting to the building in the morning is usually a bit of a struggle with the Bangalore traffic. Once we are inside, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of the computers and the occasional sound of something being tested. We aren't the ones selling the lifts, we are the ones making sure the engineering is solid. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking numbers. The building itself is okay, nothing too modern, but it does the job. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, and that's usually where we talk about everything except work. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so we know the routine by heart. It’s not glamorous, but lifts need to be safe, and that’s what we spend our hours doing. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, but mostly we just stick to our hours and head home. It is steady, honest engineering work in a busy city.
