Our office is located at 93, 2nd Cross in the Central Excise Layout of Vijaynagar, Bangalore. If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic can be, especially getting into the residential layouts around here. We’re in a building that looks a lot like the others on the street, so sometimes people miss the turn at the corner. Most of the work we do involves systems for buildings, like making sure the air conditioning and security stuff works right. It’s a lot of technical things and looking at diagrams on computers. We have a mix of engineers and office staff who have been here for years. The canteen nearby is where we all go for lunch, usually for a quick south Indian meal. It’s not a flashy place, just a workspace where we get things done and deal with the daily reports. On some days, it gets pretty quiet when the field teams are out at different sites across the city. We keep a stash of biscuits in the kitchen for when the afternoon hunger hits. The area is mostly quiet except for the occasional honking from the main road. It’s a steady kind of life here in Vijaynagar, and we’re just a small part of the bigger company team trying to keep up with all the projects coming in.
