Jllm (Ibmi)

I’m Shiva Kumar and I handle most of the things going on here. It’s a bit of a small operation, really just me and a few bits of equipment I keep organized in my workspace. If you’ve ever tried to call my mobile, you know I’m usually running around, but I try to get back to everyone when I have a spare minute. The email is there too, shiva633_kumar at yahoo, which I’ve had forever now. I don't see a reason to change it just because things get more modern or corporate. My work isn't anything flashy. I just focus on what needs to be done each day and try to keep my records straight so I don't lose track of anything. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s completely silent, which gives me time to catch up on the paperwork that piles up on the corner of the desk. People ask what the name Jllm stands for sometimes, and I just tell them it’s the name we use. It’s just a way to keep the work separate from my personal life, though they end up being pretty much the same thing anyway. I spend a lot of time on my feet. Bangalore can be a tough place to get around with all the new construction everywhere, so I stay put as much as I can. It’s just a regular setup. I just want to finish my work and go home like anyone else.
