Our office is tucked away on the second floor of the Ankareddy Complex. If you are driving down Kaggadasapura Main Road, you have to look for the building near the 15th Cross. Bangalore traffic can be a real headache around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home to C.V. Raman Nagar. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time now. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we usually take our time and catch our breath. Inside, the fans are always humming to keep the air moving, though it still gets stuffy in the afternoon. Jet Airways has its desks set up near the windows so we can see what is happening on the street below. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we are always wiping down the computers and the files with old cloths. The postman knows us well since we get a lot of mail delivered to P.O. 560 093. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just sit and wait it out while we drink some lukewarm coffee. It is not a fancy place, just a regular office where we get things done. We have a small kitchenette in the back where someone is usually heating up their lunch in a tiffin. The calendar on the wall is always a few days behind because we forget to flip it. It is just how it goes here.
