Jet Airways

Our office is tucked away in Indu Bhavan over in Muringoor. If you’re heading towards Chalakudy, you’ll pass right by us here in Thrissur. It’s a bit of a different setup than what you might see in a big city airport office. We deal with Jet Airways stuff from this Kerala branch, and things move at their own pace. The building is solid and has that specific smell of old files and floor cleaner. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know the routine inside out. We spend a lot of time on the phones or typing away at the old computers. Outside, the weather is usually either very hot or raining really hard, so we’re glad for the roof over our heads. We get a lot of locals dropping in to ask questions about flights or just to see what’s going on. It’s not a flashy place. There are some faded posters on the walls and the ceiling fans hum all day long. We keep the tea kettle going in the back room because it helps get through the long afternoons. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to apologize to people, but usually, we get things sorted. It’s just a regular workplace where people from the neighborhood come to earn a living and help travelers get to where they need to be.
