Jet Airways

Our office is actually inside an apartment building, number 302 at Rich Field Apartments. It’s right there on the Outer Ring Road in Marathahalli. Being in an apartment makes it feel a bit different than a normal commercial building. We handle things for Jet Airways from here. Marathahalli is always packed with people and cars, so the view from the window is basically just a lot of traffic. Inside, it’s just us at our desks. We do a lot of the back-end stuff like ticketing and customer queries. It’s a lot of typing and looking at flight paths. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped with all the files, but we make it work. It’s a very functional space. We don't have a big lobby or a ticket counter where you’d see pilots. It’s more of an administrative hub. The Outer Ring Road is a noisy neighbor, but we’re used to it. We’ve been in this apartment for a while now. It’s a bit of a trek for people to find us if they aren't looking for the Rich Field sign. We spend our days on the phone mostly. It’s just a small team of us keeping the airline’s business moving along from this corner of Bangalore. No fancy uniforms here, just everyday clothes and a lot of work to get through. It’s a bit of a squeeze but we managed to get everything set up right.
