Jet Airways India Limited. Our setup is at 481, Swami Nivas, in the 1st Stage of H.B.R. Layout, Bangalore. It is situated on the 6th Main in the 5th Block. This is more of a local office than a big airport terminal. We spend our days dealing with a lot of administrative tasks and helping people out with their travel questions. Bangalore is a busy city, and H.B.R. Layout has grown a lot since we first got here. The office is inside a building that looks like many others on the street. We have a few computers and some files stacked up in the corner. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast. We do not have a big fancy reception desk. Usually, if someone comes in, they just talk to whoever is closest to the door. We handle various parts of the airline operations from here, focusing on the details that keep the flights going. It is a lot of data entry and checking schedules. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. We aren't trying to be the biggest office in the city, just a place where the work gets done properly. It is a regular job with regular people. We have a few plants on the windowsill that we try to keep alive.
