We are based in Lingarajapuram at number 14. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of character and plenty of small shops nearby. Our office is in a building that has seen better days, but it serves us well enough. We have a few rooms set up with high-end computers because the work we do involves a lot of processing power. There is always a stack of empty plastic tea cups near the bin by the end of the day. The street outside is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when a car tries to pass a rickshaw. We started Jeraphic Technologies because we wanted a place where we could work on projects without someone breathing down our necks. Most of us live fairly close by, so we walk or bike to work. The walls are painted an off-white color that is starting to peel in the corners. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms, just a round table where we sit and talk about what needs to be done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which gives us a few minutes to chat. It’s a very grounded place to work. We don't spend money on expensive furniture; we’d rather have better monitors. It’s just a small group of us trying to do good work in our own little corner of the city.
