I work out of the Kumara Krupa Jeevan Building, which is right near the Ashoka Hotel. It’s a familiar landmark for most people around here. My name is Jeevanbabu and this is where I handle my daily business. It’s not a huge setup, just a regular office space where things get done. The area is usually quite busy because of the hotel nearby, so there’s always people walking past. I’ve been in this building for some time now and it feels like home. The desk is often covered in papers and my phone doesn’t stop ringing much during the day. I don’t go for anything fancy, just a functional space where I can focus. Sometimes the elevators in the building are a bit slow but the walk up isn't too bad. People drop by when they have something to discuss and we just sit down and talk it through. It’s a straightforward way of working without any unnecessary complications. Being near the hotel makes it easy to give directions to anyone coming to see me. I try to keep a regular schedule, though things often run late. Life at Kumara Krupa is mostly just about staying on top of the work and keeping the records straight. It’s a quiet enough place to think even with the city moving outside the window. I spend most of my mornings catching up on emails before the real work begins for the afternoon.
