Even though the name says Bangalore, we are actually based out of Ambadi, D3-New Civil Nagar in the Civil Lines area of Palakkad. It’s a nice change of pace here in Kerala compared to the bigger cities. The office is in a residential-feeling area, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed. We have our desks set up and we deal with all the administrative stuff from here. It’s a lot of phone calls and keeping track of different projects. The weather here is either very hot or very rainy, so we are always adjusting the fans or checking for leaks. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we can focus. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn’t too bad. We usually bring our lunch from home and eat together. There isn't much to say about the building itself; it’s just a solid place to work. We keep a calendar on the wall with all our deadlines marked in red. Sometimes the power goes out during the monsoon season, so we have to keep some torches handy. We just keep moving forward with whatever is on the desk that day. It’s honest work and we’ve been at it for a good while now. The stray dog that hangs out near the gate has become something of a mascot for us. We give him some scraps and he keeps the place company. It's a quiet life but we like it this way.
