I ended up setting up my shop on the first floor of the Om Complex. It is right on Cubbonpet Main Road, but the tricky part for new people is finding us because we are tucked behind Hotel Raj. Most people just use the hotel as a landmark when they are coming over. Once you find the hotel, you just look for the entrance to the complex and come up the stairs to the first floor. It is a very busy street out there, always full of people, carts, and bikes. Inside the office, it is a lot quieter than you would think. I handle my business from here, mostly dealing with clients who have been coming to me for many years. It is a simple setup with a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and my storage files. I do not see the point in having a fancy office when the actual work is what matters to everyone. Cubbonpet is a very tight-knit area, and it feels like everyone seems to know everyone else. I have spent many years in this building now. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets a bit flooded during the heavy rains, but we always manage to keep things going. Being on the first floor is good because I can see what is happening on the road without being right in the middle of the mess. It is just me and a bit of help.
