Jaff Design Studio Chartered Architects

We are set up at P/137 in Jeevan Bhima Nagar. Jaff Design Studio Chartered Architects is where we spend our days dealing with the ins and outs of building design. It’s a decent area, and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the people around. The studio is basically just a few rooms filled with drawings and model-making supplies. We aren't the type of people who wear fancy clothes to work; you're more likely to see us in jeans with dust on our shoes from a site visit. We take our work seriously, but we don't feel the need to be overly formal about it. A lot of our time is spent on the boring stuff that people don't see, like checking building codes and making sure the structural calculations are right. We try to be very clear with people about what they can actually achieve with their space. Sometimes we have to give them news they don't want to hear about their budget or their ideas, but we think it's better to be upfront from the start. We enjoy the puzzle of fitting everything a client needs into a small or awkward plot of land. It’s a constant challenge, but it keeps the work interesting after all these years. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the next set of plans out the door. It’s about making things that last and work for the people inside.
