Our legal office is at 7 Vishveshwaraiah Puram, over in Doddakannahalli off Sarjapur Road. It’s a bit away from the main road, tucked back near Diagonal Road. We have two main rooms where we meet with people and keep all our legal texts. The shelves are pretty full of law books that we’ve collected since we started practicing. It’s a quiet place for the most part, which is good because we need to focus on the cases we are working on. Jaya Prakash and Amarnath are usually here most of the day, unless we have to go down to the courts. We don’t have a big staff, just a clerk who helps with the filing and the typing. The office gets a lot of light in the morning, which is nice. Sometimes clients find it a bit hard to locate us the first time because the roads in Doddakannahalli can be winding, but we usually tell them to look for the landmark on Sarjapur Road. We’ve kept the office simple with just some wooden desks and chairs. We don't see the point in having a flashy place. People come to us for advice and to get their paperwork sorted, and that’s what we focus on. It’s a steady way of working and we like the neighborhood. We usually stay late if there is a deadline, but we try to be home for dinner. It's a small practice but it keeps us very busy.
