Operating out of Kacharakanahalli 26, we spend most of our time dealing with heavy stuff. This business is all about poles, tarpaulins, chairs, and big rolls of fabric. When there is a function or a local gathering, we are the ones loading the truck. It’s a lot of physical labor, and our hands are usually a bit rough from the ropes and metal. The warehouse is a bit of a mess sometimes because things come in and go out so fast. We try to keep the chairs stacked neatly, but it’s a constant battle. Kacharakanahalli is a busy area, and maneuvering the trucks can be tricky in the narrow spots. We don’t really have a showroom; it’s more of a storage space where we manage the bookings. Most of the guys here have been doing this for a long time, so we know how to set up a tent pretty quickly. We have to work in all kinds of weather, whether it’s raining or the sun is beating down. If a customer needs extra tables at the last minute, we just try to find them in the back. It’s a straightforward business with no frills. We don’t spend much time on the computer; we prefer writing things down in a ledger. It’s about being reliable and showing up when we say we will. That’s just how we run things here.
