Our office is right near the Vivek Nagar bus stop in Sadashiv Peth, at number 397. J D N Services started because folks in this neighborhood always needed help with their daily paperwork and local government tasks. We do things like bill payments, document typing, and helping people get their certificates sorted out. It’s a small space, and it gets pretty loud because of the buses stopping right outside all the time. We’ve got a couple of computers and a printer that occasionally jams when we’re in a hurry. Most days involve people coming in with crumpled papers wanting to know how to fill out a form for a new water connection or something similar. We aren't a big corporation; it’s just us trying to make a living by helping neighbors navigate the red tape. Sometimes the internet goes down, and we just have to tell everyone to come back in an hour. People don't mind too much because they know we're doing our best. Sadashiv Peth is a busy area, and being so close to the bus stop means someone is always walking through the door. We keep a stack of extra pens and forms handy. It’s not fancy work, but it’s necessary for a lot of people who don’t have the time to sit in front of a screen or stand in long lines. We stay open pretty late to catch people coming home from work.
