J D Computers Gallary is located at 16/2 on Sadar Patrappa Road. We are right by the Suryaprabha Nursing home, which makes it easy to find. It’s a very busy spot with people always coming and going. We sell various computer parts and fix up old machines that people don't want to throw away yet. The shop itself is quite narrow and deep. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling. You usually need a tall ladder to get most of the things down. We've been working here since computers were those big, heavy beige boxes. Now everything has become small and thin. We still keep some of the old cables and parts in the back room just in case someone needs them. The floor is made of old stone tiles that are cracked in a few places. We don't really mind the look. It's a place for hard work, not for looking pretty for photos. Customers come in with all sorts of different problems. It might be a virus, a broken screen hinge, or they just want to add more memory. We take a look and tell them what it will realistically cost to fix. There are no hidden fees or anything like that. We just want to be honest with people. Sometimes the power fluctuates on this street and we have to restart our systems. That’s just part of being on Sadar Patrappa Road.
