Ivy The Unwindisland

Ivy is tucked away in Ashwath Layout. If you’re looking for us, we are at 240/21. It’s a bit of a specific spot, and sometimes people miss the turn. We called it Unwindisland because we wanted it to feel like a break from everything else going on in Bangalore. It’s not a huge place, just a nice layout where people can come and hang out. We have some green patches and the air feels a bit better here than on the main roads. The staff here are mostly local people. We spend a lot of time watering the plants and making sure the chairs are arranged right. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone and another person cleaning up. We get people coming in who just want to sit for a while and forget about their commute. The neighborhood around Ashwath Layout is mostly houses, so it’s pretty calm. We like it that way. Every day is a bit different depending on who stops by. Some days it’s very quiet and we just catch up on maintenance. Other days, we have a few groups in and the place feels a bit more alive. We just take it as it comes and try to keep the vibes decent for everyone who walks in.
