Ista Hotels, Bangalore

We've been over here at S V Springfields in G M Palya for a while now. It’s a quiet corner of Bangalore, mostly residential around the New Tippasandra area, so we don't get the huge crowds you see in Indiranagar, but it’s still busy enough. The office is at number 004, right on the ground level of the building. We spend most of our days just handling the usual stuff that comes up with Ista Hotels. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power cuts out for a minute, which is just part of living in this city. People come by asking for directions or sometimes guests check in and need help with their bags. We just try to keep things moving. It’s not a fancy setup, just some desks and some chairs and a lot of paperwork to get through. The street outside gets quite dusty in the summer months. You can hear the neighbors talking and the occasional delivery bike zooming past. We usually take our lunch breaks together when things aren't too frantic. It’s a decent place to work. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just doing the job and making sure the hotel guests have what they need when they arrive. Most of the staff has been here for a couple of years so we know the local chai shops pretty well by now. That's pretty much us, just a small team in a flat in Bangalore.
