Ista Hotel, Banglore

Our place is Ista Hotel and we are located at C/105, Chhatra Chhaya Parisar in Pithampur. Even though the name mentions Bangalore, we are actually based in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. It is a very industrial area and most of the people who come to stay with us are here for work in the local factories. The building is a simple one. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are clean and that the fans are working because it gets very hot in this part of the country. The street outside is usually busy with trucks and workers going to their shifts. It is not a quiet or fancy neighborhood. We have a small desk at the front where someone is always sitting to check people in. Most of the time, we are just busy with the daily chores like washing the bedsheets and sweeping the floors. We have been here for a while and we know the locals around the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to deal with that. It is just a regular hotel for regular people who need a bed for the night. We don't have any big gardens or swimming pools. It is just a practical spot to stay. We do our work and try to keep things in order as best as we can. It’s a long day but the routine is very familiar to us now.
