Iris

Iris is located at F-108 in the Grilakshmi Apartments here in Bangalore. We don't have a big storefront on a main road; we work out of this apartment space instead. It’s a bit quieter this way, though we still hear the city noise from the balcony during the day. We’ve set up a few desks and some equipment in the rooms to get our work done. It feels more like a home than an office, which is fine by us. We mostly handle things over the phone or through emails, but sometimes people drop by to see us in person. When they do, they usually have to sign in at the gate with the security guard first. The space is a bit cramped with all our files and stuff, but it works for what we need. We don't have a receptionist or a big sign outside. It’s just a small team of us working together every day. Sometimes we take turns making tea or picking up lunch from the food stalls nearby. Being in an apartment complex means we know the neighbors and the guards pretty well. We don't try to act like a giant corporation because we aren't one. We just do our work, keep our heads down, and try to finish everything before the day ends. It’s a simple way of doing business, and it suits the way we like to live and work in the city.
