Interphase

Interphase is located on the first floor of building 59 in Jayanagar. It’s a nice enough area with some old trees lining the streets, which is a bit of a relief from the heat. Being on the first floor means we have to walk up a narrow set of stairs every morning. The office has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it, with heavy wooden doors and floors that creak a little when you walk over the wrong spot. We have a few large windows that let in some decent light, though we usually keep the blinds half-drawn to keep the glare off the monitors. The desks are pushed together in the middle of the room so we can talk to each other without having to get up. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, unless someone is on a long phone call. Jayanagar is a bit more laid back than other parts of the city, and we appreciate that pace. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and a box of biscuits for when someone gets hungry. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we don't need to say much to know what needs doing. It’s a straightforward place with no real frills. We just come in, sit at our spots, and get through the list of tasks for the day before heading home to our families.
